Don’t Give Away Your Personal Power

We diminish ourselves when we direct our energies to externalities, in the form of people and circumstances that we cannot control.

Playing the blame game may be human, but is not smart. When my traditional business went broke I could have done that (plenty of people contributed to my downfall apart from me), but I choose not to. I took it in the chin and took full responsibility.

That approach helped me stay sane and healthy which I knew instinctively was the smart thing to do. (I had no chance of making good with creditors if I was sick because of stress and anger.)
