Yea, I know.
This past week has been frustrating with Empower Network.
If you didn’t know, a few day ago, their server crashed – big time.
The good news is that they spent a fortune installing a new system.
It’s ready to go now, but they are just tweaking it a bit.
Should be ready in 8 – 10 hours.
Anyway, watch fellow marketer Nick Bramble talk about it.
You can also watch the full David Wood update video too if you want.
But Bigger Than This
Although this can be frustrating for all Empower Networkers, I think we can learn something about ourselves from this situation. And that is no bad thing.
You see I have this view that setbacks can bring out the best – and worst – in us.
You have to decide which group you belong to.
Some people act like small children when things don’t go exactly according to plan. They have their heart set on a preconceived outcome. And when it doesn’t happen EXACTLY the way they envisaged they have a tantrum – or two.
This behavior is quite edifying – it tells me how they handle stress and what they do when they don’t get their way. It’s probably how they have handled difficult situations all their lives, and serves to explain why they never seem to succeed at anything much.
On the other hand, a balanced individual is going to take it on the chin. He or she will deal with it. Often they make the most of it – they see a silver lining in every cloud.
They will spend the time to prospect and add to their prospect list. They’ll get on with other projects whilst their waiting for the problem to be fixed.
They won’t expend negative energy on something they can do nothing about.
See the difference?
