Three Things + 1
It happened in my third month as a newbie affiliate marketer. Boom! I was promoting a high ticket offer and after a few glitches in month 1, there was no stopping me.
Keep in mind that I was being paid in Australian dollars but $AU26,000+in just my 3rd month was pretty good money, no matter which way you look at it. This was on top of the $26k I had made in the first 2 months.
Of course, I had to deduct the cost of ads. I spent $AU1,750 in months 1 and 2, and virtually zero in Month 3.
The Bad News
There are always ups and downs in business. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional; these are the folks who want to believe in fairy tales and make-believe. Not me. I’m a hard-nosed realist. So, I bombed in Month 4 – January 2007. Fortunately, I bounced back in February with another good 5 figure month.
Anyway, the point of this post is not to brag or show you how good I am (or not). It is simply to say there are always lessons to be learned.
Some say you only learn from your setbacks. I refute this. You learn from both your wins and losses, sometimes in equal measure.
So on this Facebook Live replay, I share the key lessons I learned from those early successes.
Take a look – you’ll be glad you did.
I am no longer a high-ticket affiliate marketer. After crossing the million-dollar in commissions earned threshold I made the decision to share my skills and knowledge with others who want to attract more clients and customers using online methods.
